Hey There! My name is Rob. Here at Cedar Ota Coffee, I am the roaster, packager, and dedicated coffee sipper of delicious bean juice. Sharing my coffee, my experience, and my passion with you is a truly rewarding experience that I am honored to have. 

When I am not roasting the devil out of some amazing beans, I can be found amongst a stack of books or battling my kids in an epic game of… wrestling. I have yet to let them win, but the day is coming when that may no longer be my choice. 

 How did I get into coffee you may ask? Well, I blame that on the wife. I made a video on that story awhile back if you are interested.

Roasting coffee has been an amazing experience. I call it the best job ever. The aroma of roasted coffee pouring out of the roaster, the sound of the beans cracking at the perfect temp and the tasting of all the delicate flavors. I mean what more could you ask for? That’s a dang good life if you can hold on to it.   

 It is in the discovering that we find fulfillment. The ship on all my coffee bags represents just that. That ship is your journey, your Odyssey, your soon to be destination. A place where you can claim the dreams you have been longing for. 

The ship represents the action necessary to fulfill your dream. You do not conquer distant lands by staying on shore. You cannot discover who you truly are without embarking on the incredible journey of life. If the ship represents the action, then let coffee be thy wind that fills your sails. 

Will there be tempest and hydras to face along the way. Well, It would not be called an Odyssey if not. Enjoy the aroma, cherish the times, and always enjoy the experience. When looking back on those action-packed days of storms and chaos you will realize that aboard that ship was peak life. Go do something EPIC.
